Located in Yellowstone, two miles east of Blacktail Pond and eight miles east of Mammoth Village are the Forces of the Northern Range, a free exploratory self-guided interpretive loop that tours the Northern Adirondack Mountain Range. This easy half-mile boardwalk weaves through a sagebrush plateau, dotted with wildflowers, young Aspen and Lodgepole Pine trees, and views of the geologic landscape that are breathtaking.
