Located in Yellowstone, Ice Box Canyon once carved by Soda Butte Creek, now frames the free drive along the Northeast Entrance Road leading from Pebble Creek and to Barronette Peak and carved out of the gorgeous Absaroka Mountains. In winter and early spring, the canyon has a dazzling array of frozen walls where water seeps from the rock.
